Sign-off photos that actually prove the job is done
Customer signatures alone leave gaps. Field teams in Malaysia that pair a clear photo set with closeout notes reduce reopen rates.
A signature on a handheld screen proves someone tapped a box. It does not always prove the outdoor unit ran, the breaker label matched the circuit, or the leak under the sink stayed dry. Crews that pair a short photo set with the closeout note leave fewer reopen surprises.
We favour three frames for most residential finishes: wider context of the work area, a close detail of the repaired or replaced item, and a clear reading of any gauge, meter, or serial if the job requires it. Keep the set short so technicians actually take it before packing the van.
When photos are not enough
Safety isolations and warranty paperwork still need written confirmation. Photos support the story; they do not replace a customer who must approve a follow-up visit. Teach crews to leave the ticket open when that approval is missing — an honest incomplete beats a false complete.
